Neal joined Templar in December 2017 and is based in Singapore. His focus will be on building out the Singapore and South-East Asia business, working with all Templar clients in the region.
Neal spent the past 17 years in the banking industry in senior client-facing roles at both Citi and J.P. Morgan. His experience spans each of the key global financial markets having worked in London, New York, Hong Kong and Singapore in that time, gaining both local and global perspectives on complex cross border transactions.
He brings deep and broad experience from his time in the banking industry. As a corporate banker and treasury sales consultant in these global markets, Neal has built strong expertise in nurturing and developing effective client relationships with global multinationals in a wide range of industries, with specific senior responsibility for the Technology sector.
His most recent experience during his eight years in Asia Pacific was in regional sales and relationship management roles, enhancing his understanding of the local business nuances in these diverse markets. With the variety in his functional, geographical and business experiences, Neal brings an extensive skill-set in business development, client relationship management, deal negotiation, effective client communication and pitching.
Neal holds an MBA from Wharton and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Economics from The London School of Economics.
