Patrick joined Templar after a 25-year career in the legal, financial and corporate sectors. As an attorney, he focused on commercial transactions and litigation and before spending 12 years as general counsel and senior executive at the American Cancer Society.
In addition to managing governance, legal and risk functions, he oversaw strategic planning and developed the enterprise-wide relationship management and leadership programs.
Patrick consults on negotiation, pitches and roadshows. He also provides group training and individual coaching on leadership, communication, negotiation, sales, and relationship management. His multi-national clients include Aon, BAML, Citi, Credit-Suisse, DLA Piper, GLG, Harvard Business School, Hunton & Williams and JP Morgan Chase.
He is an experienced executive coach and is qualified in personality and leadership assessment (Hogan HPI, HDS, MVPI), and in emotional intelligence (MHS EQ-I 2.0 and EQ-i/EQ 360 certifications).
Patrick attended Siena College, Albany Law School and Rockefeller College where he earned degrees in politics, law and public policy.
