Harry Emck is a Director of Templar Advisors. He has been coaching global heads and senior executives in the financial, insurance and accountancy world for the last 18 years. He is an expert in pitching, presenting, negotiation, client service skills, as well as leadership and management.
Typical clients include full-service banks, asset and investment managers, and private equity. He works at main board level at one of the worlds’ largest insurance companies, and has worked all over Europe with C-Suite executives to improve the delivery and impact of their management presentations and investor communications. He has a decade of experience teaching on the MBA and Master’s in Finance programme at the London Business School, and is regularly asked to contribute to company offsites. Psychometric qualifications include MBTI, Extended DISC and Hogan.
In a previous life, Harry served in the British Army as Chief Instructor at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and as the Commanding Officer of an Armoured Infantry Battle Group. He has a BA in History and an MA in War Studies from Kings College London. In 1999 he was awarded an MBE by Her Majesty the Queen for services to peace-enforcement operations in Bosnia.
