Shelia Plaisance joined Templar following a 17-year global career at UBS in revenue, non-revenue and human capital roles.
Shelia brings experience across asset management, investment banking, private wealth, finance and risk, allied to an extensive coaching and talent development background. Shelia’s clients include HSBC, UBS, Gabelli Investments, HPS Partners and Schwarzman Scholars in addition to 1-1 executive coaching.
While in UBS Asset Management’s hedge fund business, she was on the asset raising team and covered institutional and private wealth clients and advisors. During the 2008 financial crisis she was the global head of the Investment Bank’s Fixed Income credit derivatives control group, a position she held for five years.
From 2011, Shelia’s global talent management roles included strategic people initiatives. Additionally, she designed and coached cross-divisional business development programs across a spectrum of revenue producers as well as legal, risk, human resources and technology.
Most recently, she led the global business partnering platform, which empowered 3,000+ participants with the communication and influencing skills needed to drive better business outcomes.
