Catherine Chau brings more than a decade of professional experience in banking to Templar. She joins us from Goldman Sachs, where she spent over four years in the Prime Brokerage Division, contributing to the transition management of new hedge funds onto the platform. Before that, she was with RBC in Wealth Management in Montreal, and in 2018, she relocated to Hong Kong and joined BNP Paribas in Corporate Banking.
At Templar, Catherine has worked on projects for clients including Blackstone, Bain Capital, EQT, HSBC, Deutsche Bank, Ares, Aon, Fidelity, QRT, Goldman Sachs, and PIMCO.
Alongside her finance background, Catherine is passionate about mindfulness and giving back to the community. She volunteers with RUN HK, supporting refugees in Hong Kong through sports activities, and she also plays an active role on the Fundraising Advisory Committee.
Catherine is bilingual in French and English with spoken Mandarin. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a Major in Accountancy from Concordia University.
