James Compo has been training bankers since 2013. He combines a deep understanding of the banking environment with broad L&D expertise. He joined from Citibank, where he was a Vice-President and Senior Learning Advisor on the L&D team, supporting the Private Bank and its Global Wealth parent.
At Templar, he focuses on programs around communications, relationships, and career development. During his tenure at Citibank, he facilitated at all levels, building on his client-facing experience at both Citi and prior to that, Bank of America.
James is credentialed as a Master Performance Consultant through the Association for Talent Development.
An honors graduate from Lander University with a BA in History and Spanish, James also played professional baseball. The sport’s disciplines of leadership, teamwork, communication, and inclusivity are relevant to his clients now.
In addition to his native English, he is fluent in Spanish.
