Lindsey Larrabee is a former investment consultant. She combines over 12 years’ experience of building and managing client relationships – including at BNY Mellon and Oppenheimer Funds – with specialized expertise in financial psychology and behavioural finance. Together, these attributes bring a research-led, yet highly practical communications coaching angle to her clients.
Prior to joining Templar in 2019, Lindsey spent four years in business development at BNY Mellon in their Wealth Solutions Group, working as an investment consultant across all UHNW client channels. Prior to this, she spent eight years at OppenheimerFunds in various roles, including investment sales, and assisting the build-out of the Private Bank, Bank Trust, & Family Office team, covering clients across the entire US region.
Lindsey completed her undergraduate education between Colorado State University and ULACIT in San José, Costa Rica and has subsequently graduated with an MBA and MSIB from the University of Colorado, Denver. She further completed a Master’s in Financial Psychology & Behavioral Finance at Creighton University.
Lindsey also holds the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA) designation, is a DiSC® Certified Human Workplace Behavior Consultant, and is Certified Highlands Ability Battery® Consultant for leadership and ability-driven career coaching. She is an Executive Circle member of the Financial Psychology Institute, a peer-reviewed author published in the Journal of Financial Planning and a regular keynote speaker for accredited industry organizations including Investment & Wealth Institute and eWomen Network. Her languages include both English & conversational Spanish.
