Shelia Plaisance coaches early to senior career executives in private equity, investment banking, asset management, law, and insurance on their business communications. These include board meetings, investment committees, town halls, sales, negotiation, and daily conversations. She joined Templar following 18 years at UBS in roles across Asset Management, Fixed Income, Human Resources and Risk.
At UBS Asset Management, her role in Marketing for Hedge Fund Solutions multi-manager funds and UBS O’Connor included contributions to capital raising, strategic initiatives and investor relations with corporates, consultants, pensions, sovereigns, and private wealth managers.
In the Investment Bank, she advanced to Global Head of the Derivatives Business Control Group in Fixed Income spanning the 2008 financial crisis. Aligned with trading and working with UBS clients, her team managed corporate and sovereign credit events and regulatory initiatives. She was also chosen for the ASCENT leadership program, which sparked her interest in coaching.
In Human Resources, Shelia led cross-divisional business development programs, co-designed business partner training with McKinsey & Co., and was seconded to co-lead the Corporate Center mid-year talent review and succession planning.
Shelia has coached across the U.S., LATAM, Europe, and Asia. She is FINRA Series 7 qualified and holds certifications in Hogan Assessments, DiSC, and Six Sigma Green Belt.
