Hugo Williams joined Templar in 2010 to expand the firm’s presence in the US. Before moving to the US, Hugo spent 10 years in financial services in the City of London. He worked principally in Institutional Sales and Relationship roles. He has deep experience working with IPO teams and road shows, servicing Portfolio Management clients and growing accounts, as well sponsor transactions. Clients include Cambridge Associates, Bain Capital, Morgan Stanley, Harbourvest, Bardin Hill and various other PE firms and hedge funds.
On moving to Boston in 2003, Hugo established his own business, helping UK companies establish initial North American presence. Born and educated in the UK, he became a US citizen in 2007.
