Megan Philbin joined Templar in 2017 and in her role as a Boston-based consultant she works with a wide range of financial services clients. She advises groups and individuals at top-tier asset managers, global investment banks, law firms, insurance companies as well as private debt and equity managers across the communications spectrum. In this capacity, she coaches for both in-person and remote public speaking and client engagement, preparation for annual investor conferences, fundraisers, roadshows and M&A processes.
Megan brings over 15 years of Wall Street experience to Templar, the majority of that as a corporate bond trader. Having spent her entire career at Lehman Brothers and Barclays, Megan was a senior member of the Credit business whose knowledge and network built strong institutional client relationships, both domestically and internationally. She began her career in a two-year rotational Analyst program in Lehman’s Finance division. At both firms, Megan had extensive involvement in talent acquisition and diversity efforts, a passion she brings to her role as Templar’s lead for its Women’s Development Series in the U.S.
Her background as a female risk-taking revenue producer coupled with her role as a business partner in her early career makes her uniquely positioned to coach clients on the communication requirements between internal and external stakeholders. She leans on her own experience as well as a vast industry network to help others effectively navigate through various steps of their careers.
Megan graduated from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University with a B.S. in Finance and a minor in English.
