Renato Ruiz-Bay

Renato Ruiz-Bay has been coaching full time since 2015. Prior to joining Templar, Renato worked for Own The Room, building products and delivering communications skill training to executives around the world. Before that, he worked in the media industry, acting, producing and writing. He has collaborated with some of the top professionals in Lima’s film industry as well as working on independent films in the U.S., winning an award for his screenwriting at the Black Mariah Film Festival.

In his coaching career, Renato has worked with multiple senior executives from Fortune 500 companies around the world providing them with tools to communicate more effectively with their clients and teams. His media industry background enables him to help leaders craft and share their messages in an impactful way. More recently, he leveraged his knowledge into instructional design, helping companies find the right solutions for their specific needs and developing corporate learning courses.

Renato holds a BA in Communication, Media Studies and Theater from William Paterson University. Bilingual in Spanish and English, he lives with his son and wife in northern New Jersey. When he has free time, Renato performs stand-up comedy at the Broadway and Gotham Comedy Clubs.
